Podket ("we", "us") generates AI-assisted summaries of podcasts and YouTube content you choose to follow. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account information — your email address, your interface language preference, and your summary language preference. Display name is optional. Usage data — which podcasts or channels you have added to your watchlist, which briefs you have opened (so we can mark them as read), and any stock tickers you have chosen to track. Payment information — handled entirely by a third-party payment processor. We store the customer reference provided by that processor and your current plan, but never see or store your card details.
How we use it
To operate the service: transcribe and summarize the episodes you subscribe to, render your feed in your chosen language, and track the price movements of stocks you have asked us to follow. To send essential service notifications (billing receipts, account-related emails). To protect the service against abuse and rate-limit violations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
To operate Podket we rely on a small number of third-party providers — for cloud hosting and authentication, sign-in (including Google and Apple), subscription payment processing, and the AI processing used to generate summaries. These providers act on our behalf, receive only the data needed to deliver the service, transmit it over encrypted channels, and handle it under their own privacy policies and our instructions.
Your rights
You can update your email, display name, and language preferences at any time via Settings. You can delete your account — and all personal data associated with it — directly in the app at any time via Settings → Profile → Delete account. You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or request deletion, by emailing us at the address below. Deleted accounts have personal identifiers removed within 30 days; anonymized telemetry may be retained longer to support service quality.
Cookies and security
We use cookies only for essential functionality — your authentication session and your language preference. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. All data is transmitted over HTTPS, and database access is restricted via row-level security so each account only sees its own data.
Children's privacy
Podket is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use Podket, and minors may use it only with the consent and supervision of a legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
